FL County Commissioners Have Concerns That Some FL Condos Haven’t Complied With Inspection Deadline

In Palm Beach County, only one in five condo buildings has submitted required initial inspection reports following increased regulations after the Surfside condo collapse. At a recent County Commission meeting, officials expressed concern over the lack of compliance, with only 90 out of 600 buildings having submitted reports. Non-compliant condos may face fines, and the Building Official is compiling a list of these associations. Delays in submissions have been criticized as "unacceptable," especially given the significant special assessments some owners faced after inspections.
