Inside Palm Beach County’s new $7.7 billion budget: Will property taxes rise?

Property values increased by 9% in 2023, meaning homeowners will pay more despite the unchanged rate. The budget, totaling $7.7 billion, includes a 6% pay increase for county employees and significant funding increases for various services. A final public hearing on the budget is scheduled for September 17.
